SHREVEPORT, La—Home Federal Bank (“HFB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. of Louisiana (NASDAQ: HFBL), recently donated $1,000 to scholarship funds benefiting Bossier and Caddo parish students.
HFB gave $500 to the Caddo Career & Technology Center Scholarship Foundation. The Foundation provides scholarships for qualified Caddo Career & Technology Center seniors to assist with their college education after high school.
HFB also contributed $500 to the Bossier Parish School Board (BPSB) to fund scholarship programs for graduating seniors. Scholarships are awarded to two graduating seniors of a Bossier Parish high school who plan to pursue a degree in education at a Louisiana university. BPSB also awards scholarships to two graduating seniors who attend Bossier Parish Technical School and plan to pursue further education in a technical field.

Michele Dinsmore, assistant vice president and branch manager at HFB’s Viking Drive branch, presented the check to Billie Jo Brotherton, BPSB member; and Glen Bullard, BPSB president.
